Dr. Nagaraj Kotekal, MD
Dr. Nagaraj Kotekal, MD is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist that has many years of research, study and experience in Stem Cells. Dr. Kotekal’s objective is to achieve superior clinical skill and experience through a stimulating and challenging clinical environment as well as to make positive contributions to Health Science by way of research. Dr. Kotekal is Medically Licensed with both the Pennsylvania and Ohio State Medical Board and is a Professional Member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiology as well as the Society of Cardiac Anesthesiology. Dr. Kotekal’s education began in India where he obtained his Medical Degree from the M.R. Medical College, 1973-1978. After graduating, Dr. Kotekal has worked over the years in the Pennsylvania and in the Ohio tri-state and has worked with the Frankford Hospital of Philadelphia, PA as well as Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA and has most recently been with the Ohio Pain Clinic of Dayton, OH. Dr. Kotekal enjoys Fine art, oil painting, philosophy, yoga as well as continuing to expand his education and research studies as he is passionate about our multidisciplinary and regenerative medicine practice.
Stephen Fisher, MD – Radiologist
A Board-Certified Radiologist, Dr. Fisher earned his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois. After interning at the University of Minnesota, Columbia University’s Brookdale Hospital Center and Cook County Hospitals, he used his newly acquired skills to serve as an Army medical officer in Vietnam. In 1971 Dr. Fisher acquired additional residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from UPMC Pittsburgh. The following 18 years were spent treating patients at General Medical Practice and Specialists, a primary care practice with 7 offices in Western Pennsylvania. He has shared his expertise in Radiology and Medicine as a faculty member of The University of Pittsburgh’s Medical School, the University of California, and the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. As a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiology Society of North America, Dr. Fisher is proud to provide his extensive knowledge here at Renu Medical and Weight Loss.
Michael L. Leone, PA – C
Michael Leone, PA – C works directly with the Doctors as the Physician Assistant to Renu Medical & Weight loss Center. Mike believes it is important for the patients he assists, that they understand that his input on any proposed treatment is a discussion and that any decisions made will be made with the patients instead of for them. Mike has predominately worked in Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation as well as Emergency Medicine and is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. Mike completed his Undergraduate Studies in Music and Pre-Health Sciences at Washington & Jefferson College in 2012 and went on to graduate from Chatham University Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2015. Currently residing in the Pittsburgh area, Mike enjoys music and fitness in his spare time.
Shannon Fitzgerald, MSN, PMC, CRNP
Shannon Fitzgerald, MSN, PMC, CRNP works directly with the Doctors of Renu Medical & Weight loss Center as the Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner. Shannon enjoys working one on one with her patients which prompted her to further her career as a Nurse where she would be able to combine advance practice and treatment. Shannon enjoys the instant gratification from providing injections to patients and knowing that she is able to help in relieving the patient’s pain. Shannon carries years of experience beginning as a Registered Nurse in 2003 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh spending (9) years working in Pediatrics. During her time with Children’s, Shannon also taught Undergraduate Nursing Students at both Carlow University and the University of Pittsburgh after which moving into working in Adult Oncology with UPMC and transitioned from RN to LP in 2015 specializing in Hematology. Shannon holds degrees in Bachelor of Science of Nursing from Carlow University, 2006, Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership & Education also from Carlow University, 2007 going on to complete her Post Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Duquesne University, 2015 and has extensive experience in performing Bone Marrow Harvesting. Shannon takes great pride in the fact that she was able to find a balance with the help and support of her family, between furthering career as a Nurse Practitioner and having (2) children in (3) years; Liam, age 3 and Hannah, age 5. In Shannon’s spare time, she enjoys being with her family and children, reading mysteries and when she is able, getting on the mountain to ski.
Jessica Galie Hudock, PT, DPT, OCS
Jessica Galie Hudock, PT, DPT, OCS works directly with the Doctors as the Physical Therapist and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Jessica takes great pride in treating each patient as an individual and devises an evidenced based individualized treatment plan based on the patient’s deficits and functional goals. Jessica enjoys helping patients achieve their functional goals as well as return to an active lifestyle and improved quality of life. Jessica obtained her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2011 from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science as well as two certificates in Pathokinesiology in Rehabilitation and Psycho-Social Issues in Rehabilitation in December 2017. During Jessica’s free time, she enjoys keeping an active lifestyle which includes running.
Dr. James Millen, DC (Director)
Dr. James Millen, DC is a Certified Doctor of Chiropractic and holds an ACRRT for administrating Radiological Services. Dr. Millen’s goals are to help as many people as possible to restore their health without painful, damaging surgery as his objective is to deliver the highest quality of service as well as to provide his patients with the most comprehensive treatment possible. Dr. Millen Graduated Cum Laude with a 3.9 GPA from the Palmer College of Chiropractic ranking him in the National Chiropractic Honors Society. Dr. Millen’s most notable and favorite achievement professionally is the success he has had in treating patients as he prides himself in providing personalized treatment and feels that his confidence in his skills will help in providing an satisfactory experience while under his care. Dr. Millen enjoys taking his dog for walks, reading and doing yard work when he isn’t spending time with his greatest joys, his beautiful wife and daughter summer vacationing to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and traveling.
Zachary Smith, DC
Dr. Zachary Smith completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in biology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Smith previously worked as an associate chiropractor at Leefer Chiropractor, a busy chiropractic office. He joined the staff at Scott Medical Health Center because of its integrated physical medicine and wellness philosophy. Dr. Smith’s interests include sports injury and rehabilitation, as well as spreading the philosophy of chiropractic and total wellness. A native of Upper St. Clair, he enjoys sports and weight lifting.
